Practicing calligraphy is more than an art—it’s a moving meditation. As you trace and form each character, your mind slows, your breath steadies, and the deeper meaning of the ChunBuKyung begins to unfold within you.
The ChunBuKyung (Heavenly Code) is an ancient Korean scripture composed of 81 Chinese characters. Though written during the late Goryeo Dynasty (1328–1401) by the scholar NongEun, it is believed to carry spiritual truths that date back 9,000 years.
The script outlines the principles of universal harmony—connecting heaven, earth, and humanity—and is traditionally used for meditation, chanting, and self-cultivation. Its characters are written in a style reminiscent of ancient oracle bone script, adding to its timeless, sacred presence.
